NATURAL GAS HEATING
Natural gas heating is a central heating system whose heat transfer element is water. The water is heated by a boiler and sent to some radiators. Radiators are those that emit heat inside the home. The entire system is controlled through an ambient thermostat, and the fuel used in the boiler is natural gas. These boilers also provide hot water for use in the home, showers, kitchen, etc.
The requirements for a natural gas heating system are very simple; First, we need a natural gas supply point, a boiler and a water distribution system throughout our home. Only in this way can we bring the hot water to the points where the heat will be emitted, the radiators.
Natural gas heating, also called city gas, has a very low environmental impact. Its combustion generates little waste, in addition the supply is continuous, so we do not have to worry about the supply of natural gas.
A natural gas heating system is relatively inexpensive, as long as we compare it to more common heating systems such as electric heating. In our experience, condensing boilers are the best option. These have an efficiency of 18% higher than technologies such as watertight. Furthermore, if these are combined with modulating thermostats they increase their efficiency by 3%.
The vast majority of natural gas heating systems are designed with radiators, and the most common are made of aluminum. Before choosing a model, we must analyze the calorific value that it emits.
The model varies depending on the contact surface of the radiator and if there is no possibility of supplying natural gas by the distributor, different alternatives will have to be analyzed in order to provide our home with heating.
